First Day Post

Okay People,
This is what you've all been waiting for, the day that John decides to write!
What can I say? I have no idea what to write about, nor what to discuss, what was I thinking?! I guess I thought this would be real easy, now I'm finding out that it is actually :-)
For those joining this site, this is the first post and it's an introduction to the life and times of yours truly.
